No idea who made this, please let us know if you do so we can credit it properly.
Thanks to Simon Heptinstall for pointing it out though

I was just thinking we hadn’t had a nice poster for a while, when this one arrives from Ricky Plows via Twitter to MOON Director Duncan Jones.
Ricky was kind enough to provide some detail on the design (cus I asked, like) Which I think just makes it even nicer.
The silhouette is made up of Sams memorys from earth. Hes looking into his own eyes and seeing the same memories.
They are positioned to make an hourglass, representing his time left on the moon. Thanks for taking an interest

Ricky has also provided a larger version over on his on-line portfolio, along with another MOON poster
Author Joe Hill thinks there’s something kind of cool about having the Moon rise over his staircase, in fact that’s nearly exactly what he said on Twitter earlier to MOON Director, Duncan Jones.
Joe tweeted the beautifully framed poster to Duncan after hanging it over his staircase. Duncan for his part, was truly honoured. And who wouldn’t be honoured to receive such recognition from the incredibly popular author of 20th Century Ghosts, Heart-Shaped Box, Horns, and comic book series Locke & Key.
Of course mounting such a valuable piece of work can be a risky, and dangerous business, but Joe has assured everyone:
(Note: no lunar objects were damaged in the hanging of the aforementioned movie poster)
Since the release of MOON in 2009, there has been the odd request for a MOON merchandise. Unfortunately, there is no official merchandise available at the moment.
No official t-shirts, posters, badges, patches, mugs, robotic assistants, flowbees or sealed bags of beans exist. We occasionally manage to find some promotional bits & bobs to send out to competitions winners, or auction off for charity. But nothing you can actually order online, or go buy from a shop.
BUT WAIT! For MOON Director Duncan Jones has just told this:
There’s a CHANCE we may finally get to sell Moon posters & Collectors toys.
Basically we need to show there are at least 500 fans out there who would buy a Gerty desktop toy or a collectors Sam piece.

So, we’d like to get an idea of how many of you would be interested in buying some MOON gear, and what you’d like to be able to buy if it were possible. Please complete the poll below, and leave a comment, because I’ll be doing a random draw on the comments on Friday 16th at 23:00, and sending the winner a MOON promo T-Shirt (S/M or L) and a set of 4 MOON patches.
Great MOON poster by Adam Rabalais tweeted to the films Director Duncan Jones earlier this evening, who commented:
Love it! Gerty’s face always puts a smile on mine.

Adam has been kind enough to give us permission to share his version of the movie poster. Click image to go to a much larger version, and have a look at the rest of Adam’s work, stunning stuff. Especially like this Nosferatu…
Been a while since we had a new independently produced poster, so great to find this one by Jason W Stanley today whilst mooching through the SOURCE CODE Flickr group.
Jason has also been kind enough to let us know about the idea & inspiration behind his SOURCE CODE poster.
Similar in theme to the last poster we popped up, we have a new independently produced SOURCE CODE poster today, this time from design student Charlie Gardner from London.
Thanks to our old Twitter pal @SongWarmonger for letting us know about this one. Amazing work again, and Charlie is only 21!
As SOURCE CODE continues to open around the world, Duncan Jones’ second feature continues to inspire fan made posters, and here is the latest addition to the collection.
Thanks to Marko over on Twitter who pointed this one out to Duncan earlier this evening, having features it on his Visuals Of The Day site.
The poster itself is by Matt Needle over at Needle Design & Illustration, fantastic work Matt. Thanks again to Marko for doing the detective working finding Matt’s site
Artists out there continue to produce amazing posters inspired by MOON, here is another rather clever one by Christian Taipalus that manages to convey a theme of Duncan Jones’ 2009 debut, as well as the setting, with minimal content.
If you have a look over on Minimal Movie posters, you’ll see our old friend Daniel Norris has been busy as well. You may recall we previously featured Daniel’s SOURCE CODE poster.
Thanks to @lexplex_ for the heads up on this one
Right then, as we prepare ourselves for the this weeks general release of Duncan Jones’ much anticipated second feature film ‘Source Code‘, we have some all important international release dates for you all, so you can plan your weekends accordingly.
We also have a lovely selection of International ‘Source Code’ posters for you to have a look at (there’s a particularly young looking Jake on what we think is a fan made one there). Keep an eye on our Flickr group, because we will be adding to this set as we find new ones, and there are other lovely sets for you to have a look at there as well
