We all love a bit of colouring in right? It’s fun, it’s relaxing, it’s sometimes even daring should one risk straying outside of the lines, you rebel! Even better than all that though is when all that hard work pays off and is rewarded. Well this is one of those rare occasions where you may indeed be rewarded for your hard work with one of the HUGE and coveted MADI DELUXE monster editions.
So as teased last week by Duncan Jones (Director of MOON, SOURCE CODE, WARCRAFT, MUTE, and creator of MADI – the third entry in the Mooniverse trilogy don’tcha know?), please be upstanding and then sitting down with your tongue sticking out slightly as you concentrate all of your creative talents on our 🎉 Marvellous MADI Colouring Competition! 🎉
I’m sure you are now champing at the bit to get going so let’s not delay you any longer. download the image file HERE (you can just close the Dropbox sign in / create account if you are not interested in that). You should see a Download knob at the top of the page, or just right click and ‘Save as’ if that’s your way, we are all different after all.
Now the good bit! This is a colouring competition, so feel free to colour in this magnificent piece commissioned by Duncan Jones from the amazing Staz Johnson with your pencils, your crayons, your felt tip pens, or with fancy pantsie digital doodaads. Once you are happy with your work of art and ready to enter the competition please send your completed work to unklerupert@gmail.com with subject line ‘Marvellous MADI Colouring Competition!’.
You have one month from today to get cracking.
Competition entries will be accepted up to 23:59 GMT on Friday 10th June 2022.
One entry per person.
Open to anybody, anywhere (on planet Earth).
Winner will receive a mahoosive Deluxe Edition (pic above, phwoar!) of the brilliant graphic novel MADI: Once Upon A Time In The Future by Duncan Jones and Alex de Campi which will be sent to the winner by Duncan Jones himself!
Once all entries have been submitted Duncan will whittle them down to his favourite 5 and we will then hold a public vote to decide the winner. Sound good? Ok then, start those crayons! (paints, pencils, felt tips, digital doodaads)
