Clint Mansell - Please Stand ByIf you’re in Los Angeles or the UK in March would advise you get yourself tickets for Clint Mansell’s Uneasy Listening tour ASAP.

Fans of MOON will be well aware of Clint’s stunning score for Duncan Jone’s debut feature film, an integral part of the film.

Clint is the man behind some of the most celebrated soundtracks of the past two decades.

His music has been recognised with Grammy and Golden Globe nominations and he is a longtime collaborator of groundbreaking director Darren Aronofsky, for whom he scored Black SwanRequiem For A Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Noah and Pi.

In addition to his work on MOON and Aronofsky’s films, Clint created the scores for Jon S. Baird’s Filth and Park Chan-wook’s Stoker. Most recently he has completed work on Ben Wheatley’s film of JG Ballard’s High Rise, due for release in early 2016.

Clint will also be reuniting with Duncan soon to score his next film, MUTE! (That’s a bit bloody exciting eh?)

Clint Mansell - Uneasy Listening Tour March 2016

Mansell’s band, pianist Carly Paradis and the Sonus Quartet, join him on stage to perform his work.

I went to see Clint at the Barbican in London in 2014 and I can promise you if you get to see any of the dates on this tour you are in for a treat. Can’t wait to experience it all again in Brum 🙂

Uneasy listening, aural pleasure.
