Ben Ripley - Writer - Source Code

Central Ohio Film Critics Association have awarded Ben Ripley ‘Best Original Screenplay’ for Source Code in their 2011 Awards, beating Woody Allen into second place.

Back in 2007 Ben Ripley’s Source Code was added to the ‘Black List’, an industry distributed list of the top currently unproduced screenplays (see this article over on Little White Lies for more on that). Filmed in 2010, and released in 2011, Source Code is a Sci-Fi thriller centered on Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) who wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers he’s part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. Source Code stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Vera Farmiga, Michelle Monaghan & Jeffrey Wright and is Directed by Duncan Jones.

Congratulations to Ben, and everyone involved with Source Code 🙂
