If your a fan of the art of movie posters, you’ll already know who Olly Moss is. A ridiculously talented young man, who has an uncanny ability for filtering the essence of a movie into one, simple, yet stunning image.
For this years South By Southwest (SXSW), Olly has created posters for Duncan Jones’ Source Code, which premiers at, and opens the Austin, Texas based festival, and as if that wasn’t good enough, Olly has also produced a wonderful piece for MOON.
Duncan could hardly contain his excitement at the prospect of releasing these images, and tweeted last night:
Very excited to be able to announce that some time tomorrow, the amazing @ollymoss will be revealing a spanky new Source Code poster! YES!
Just need to big up @MondoNews for being the peeps behind the incoming @ollymoss poster. Seen it, and it makes my mind smile.
So, without any further ado, wrap yer eyebells round these beauties.

See Olly’s post here, for more detail on the MOON poster.
You can follow Olly and say hello on Twitter, and head over to Olly’s site for a mind blowing trip through his online portfolio.
I am guessing working on the MOON poster is what caused Olly to advise:
Note to all movie poster designers out there. When typesetting CLINT MANSELL, make sure you don't kern it too tightly. I learnt the hard way

Been following Twitter and cool new posters.
Is it wrong to prefer Simon Page’s versions?
Not at all, Sam. Very lucky to have such fantastic artists inspired to create by Duncan’s films, I think. Don’t forget Lloyd Stas as well, who also created great Source Code & Mute posters.
Cheers 😉
Simon’s and Olly’s are the cleverest – but agree the one with the 8 & hourglass is so neat. I’m going to SXSW will that be available there too?
Hi, Simon’s won’t be at SXSW afaik, would suggest getting in touch with Simon through his site?
Yep contact Simon am getting one from him too. Saw the film and loved it.
