Modus Delivers VFX For Duncan Jones’ Source Code
Talking to Digital Producer Magazine this week, Source Code Director Duncan Jones heaps high praise on the lead visual effects company on the production.
It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Modus, and it has been a huge eye opener, revealing just what high levels of work are possible from the best of boutique postproduction houses in the world.
Modus FX delivered over 150 shots for the film, including complex digital crowd shots, CG trains, environments and dramatic pyrotechnics.
Duncan goes on to say.
Digital effects are fast evolving, and Modus are redefining how and who film makers can rely on to have their visions achieved.
I would not hesitate to put them at the top of my list for my next film. In fact, I intend to.

Moon: The Work Of The Amazing Gavin Rothery
Ladies and gentlemen, what a treat we have for you today, just uploaded to the ‘Moon: The Movie‘ Flickr photo group are a ton of incredible hi res images from the portfolio of the VFX genius that is Gavin Rothery.
Can’t even begin to describe how stunning this work is. From concept art, model miniature shots, set & production photos and much more, there really is no point attempting to use my puny descriptive abilities as I will never do this work justice, do yourself a favour, grab a nice cup of tea, put half an hour aside, delve in, and feast yer eyes.
