Ok, I’m not going to stare at this for too long, as I continue in my own private mission to remain as spoiler free as possible before going to see Source Code on April 1st general release.
But for Infographic fans out there, this rather marvellous image was recently shared over at /Film
And if anyone knows who created this, get in touch and tell us about it
There has been plenty of good Source Code news out and about on the the net today. Interviews with Director Duncan Jones from the edit bay last year, where a lucky few were treated to a viewing of the first 10 minutes of Source Code, and a nice long chat with Duncan, make yourself a nice brew though before getting stuck in, they’re biggies!
And just to wet your appetite a little further, we’ve popped up some lovely screen captures from the Source Code trailer on the ole ManMadeMovies Flickr page. Here’s the slideshow, go full screen, enjoy

We have been campaigning long and hard to get the attention we feel is deserved for Sam Rockwell’s performance as Sam Bell in Duncan Jones’ debut feature MOON.
I am well aware of the hard work that went into bringing MOON to the screen by the whole cast, crew and production team at Liberty Films, and am still amazed that they all managed to produce such a stunning movie, with very limited time and budget.
That said, even I was moved by this heartfelt appeal from personality Brick Hardmeat on behalf of the Sam Rockwell Oscar Campaign, I was actually moved (from the sofa, to the kitchen actually, needed some tea, dry throat) and at one point I think my eye leaked, it would be unfair of me to prattle on, so please watch, listen, take notes, and act upon the:
Brick Hardmeat Sam Rockwell Oscar Appeal
This appeal was lovingly created by Chris Trevarthen and features the sad faces of MOON lovers all over the world, who face the thought upon waking every day, that Sam Rockwell may not get a nomination at this years Academy Awards. We get through the pain, one day at a time, please help us, make tomorrow a better day, for MOON lovers everywhere.
Many thanks to you all, for your support, your best wishes, your encouragement, and your car, I just borrowed it while you were sat reading this, will return it later with a full tank of Helium 3.
For those of you who are thinking “Did I leave the gas on when I left home this morning”?, pull yourself together, you should be thinking “Is that MOON DVD & Blu-Ray out to buy in the United States of America-ca-ca yet”? and that I can answer in upper case YES! MOON IS NOW AVAILABLE TO BUY TODAY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA-CA-CA, go grab a copy, pop round to your local Academy voter, and watch it together, as there is the slight chance, that they did not receive one themselves.
Academy Awards voting ballots deadline approaches (Jan 23rd), let’s do all we can to get the word out on #SamRockwellOscar, and as Sam would say (if he were me paraphrasing himself) “Just under two weeks to go buddies! Rock ‘n’ Roll, God bless America-ca-ca”
Duncan Jones is to direct Jake Gyllenhall in forthcoming Sci-Fi thriller ‘Source Code’
Screen Daily reports from the American Film Market festival:
Philippe Rousselet’s Vendome Pictures has announced its first project, teaming with Mark Gordon on the sci-fi thriller Source Code starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Summit International has already pre-sold rights to more than 15 territories at AFM.
Duncan Jones, fresh from his critically acclaimed low budget sci-fi Moon, will direct the story of a US soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown commuter and is forced to live and relive a train bombing until he can find the perpetrator. Ben Ripley wrote the screenplay with revisions from Billy Ray.
Responding to questions regarding the progress on ‘Mute’, Duncan Tweeted:
For those asking, Mute still in the plans, just slightly delayed. It’s a hard sell.. whereas Source Code came with an offer hard to refuse.
Its a good step up in budget and ambition. I’m excited to work with Jake G too. Cool guy. I like him.
Response so far from those that have read the script is very positive, with our good friend @crazysphinx saying:
Don’t know which draft, but I read the script sometime ago. It’s really good. Can’t wait to see @manmademoon ‘s take on it
And in case you don’t know already, here is what it’s all about:
Please help all of Holland get a slice of ‘Moon’ by adding any additional cinemas in the comments below. Dank U Wel!

Duncan Jones’ debut feature ‘Moon‘ has been nominated in 4 categories in this years Spike Scream Awards.
Celebrating all that’s great in Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Comics & Horror, the Scream Awards covers a total of 32 fan approved categories.
‘Moon’ has been nominated in the following, and we’d really appreciate you heading over and helping to boost the chances of a great British movie at this years awards.
Amazing performance from Sam Rockwell as Sam Bell coming towards the end of a three year shift on the Moon mining helium 3 for Earth based energy company Lunar Industries.
Cut off from Earth due to comms problems, Sam’s final days take a dramatic turn when he makes a discovery that will change his perceptions of reality forever.
Assured direction for a first feature for Duncan Jones, (who also wrote the original story) incredible production design considering the teeny $5 million budget. Moon’s interiors were shot at Shepperton on the same sound stage as ‘Alien’ and indeed harks back to a time when Sci-Fi had a brain.
There are plenty of references to the classics of the genre for the audience to spot, indeed Jones has mentioned in many interviews that ‘Moon’ came about off the back of conversations with Sam Rockwell where they discussed their fave Sci-fi classics (Silent Running, 2001, Outlands, Bladerunner..)
As if this wasn’t good enough, you will also get treated to a stunning soundtrack from Clint Mansell who’s previous credits include ‘Requiem for a Dream’ and ‘The Fountain’ AND a great voice performance from Kevin Spacey as Sam’s lunar companion GERTY.
To tell you more if the plot would spoil it. But this is one that demands a second viewing. And, if Sci-Fi ain’t your bag. Have no fear. This is also a treat for fans of psychological thrillers, and those that love to see a great actor at the top of his game.
Go see ‘Moon’, enjoy it, spread the word, go again and take a friend, they’ll love you for it. In a summer stuffed full of mega bucks CGI fests, it’s great to get more bang for yer buck when leaving the local cinema with plenty to talk about, and plenty to think about also.
Moon opens UK 17th June.
