WARCRAFT Trailer Two – Now with added Dwarves!

Warcraft Unite Poster

Nothing quite grabs your attention like being smashed in the face by an Orc (Durotan in this case played by Toby Kebbell) as you will see when you press play now to watch the latest trailer for Duncan Jones’ soon to be released feature film adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment’s WARCRAFT.

There’s been some speculation on what races  will feature in WARCRAFT. We knew about Orcs and Humans but keep your eyes peeled while watching this latest trailer for a glimpse of those hardy fellas, Dwarves!

WARCRAFT smashes into your cinemas, into your eyeballs and into your noggins from June 10th (30th May if you’re in the UK).

New WARCRAFT Poster and TV Spot

WARCRAFT Poster March 2016

We’re a few months away from the June 10th (May 30th UK) release of WARCRAFT and promotion is beginning to kick off with the release of a new poster and TV spot.

The poster expands on the previous Durotan (Toby Kebbell) and Lothar (Travis Fimmel) faction split (Horde and Alliance) to include Ogrim Doomhammer (Robert Kazinsky), King Llane Wrynn (Dominic Cooper), Garona (Paula Patton), Medivh (Ben Foster) and Khadgar (Ben Schnetzer).

For those wondering if any other races apart from Orcs and Humans would feature in the WARCRAFT movie, keep your eyes peeled for the fella with the blunderbuss 🙂

Join Clint Mansell For An Evening Of Uneasy Listening In March 2016

Clint Mansell - Please Stand ByIf you’re in Los Angeles or the UK in March would advise you get yourself tickets for Clint Mansell’s Uneasy Listening tour ASAP.

Fans of MOON will be well aware of Clint’s stunning score for Duncan Jone’s debut feature film, an integral part of the film.

Clint is the man behind some of the most celebrated soundtracks of the past two decades.

His music has been recognised with Grammy and Golden Globe nominations and he is a longtime collaborator of groundbreaking director Darren Aronofsky, for whom he scored Black SwanRequiem For A Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Noah and Pi.

In addition to his work on MOON and Aronofsky’s films, Clint created the scores for Jon S. Baird’s Filth and Park Chan-wook’s Stoker. Most recently he has completed work on Ben Wheatley’s film of JG Ballard’s High Rise, due for release in early 2016.

Clint will also be reuniting with Duncan soon to score his next film, MUTE! (That’s a bit bloody exciting eh?)

Clint Mansell - Uneasy Listening Tour March 2016

Mansell’s band, pianist Carly Paradis and the Sonus Quartet, join him on stage to perform his work.

I went to see Clint at the Barbican in London in 2014 and I can promise you if you get to see any of the dates on this tour you are in for a treat. Can’t wait to experience it all again in Brum 🙂

Uneasy listening, aural pleasure.

Duncan Jones Uncovers Cache of Film Director Photographs… As Babies!

Duncan Jones - Director Babies - Kubrick
Stanley Kubrick

As you may now understand from the recent announcement, babies have been on Duncan Jones’ mind for the last few months. Not only the co-production with Rodene Jones, but also following his discovery of a cache of previously rare unseen photographs of famous film directors… as babies!

Duncan has been slowly releasing these photographs on his twitter feed since October last year where he revealed a fascinatingly intense baby Stanley Kubrick starring at what we presume was his nanny from a baby cage. Where he found these and how he got his hands on them is a mystery, for now. We’ve reached out to Duncan for comment but so far he’s remained tight lipped, or maybe he simply hasn’t got the bottle. For now we’ll just have to make do with feasting our eyes on some of the most creative minds in film… as babies!

Surprise New Jones Production Due For June Release!

As you may already be aware, Duncan Jones’s next film WARCRAFT is due for release in June, but that’s not the only Jones production due for release at around the same time….

Commenting on the news along with Duncan was his co-producer, Rodene Jones:-

“Shame on those of you who just thought I was really fat and didn’t say anything. HAHA. ;)”

Big love to Rodene and Duncan, wonderful wonderful news x
