Since the release of MOON in 2009, there has been the odd request for a MOON merchandise. Unfortunately, there is no official merchandise available at the moment.
No official t-shirts, posters, badges, patches, mugs, robotic assistants, flowbees or sealed bags of beans exist. We occasionally manage to find some promotional bits & bobs to send out to competitions winners, or auction off for charity. But nothing you can actually order online, or go buy from a shop.
BUT WAIT! For MOON Director Duncan Jones has just told this:
There’s a CHANCE we may finally get to sell Moon posters & Collectors toys.
Basically we need to show there are at least 500 fans out there who would buy a Gerty desktop toy or a collectors Sam piece.
So, we’d like to get an idea of how many of you would be interested in buying some MOON gear, and what you’d like to be able to buy if it were possible. Please complete the poll below, and leave a comment, because I’ll be doing a random draw on the comments on Friday 16th at 23:00, and sending the winner a MOON promo T-Shirt (S/M or L) and a set of 4 MOON patches.

It took me way too long to watch it, but I finally saw Moon five months ago. It’s my favorite scifi movie from the last ten years. So hell YES I’d like some merch!

I’ve been dreaming of merch for this movie since I saw it for the second time (twenty-four hours after seeing it for the first time.) I want to put Lunar Industries patches everywhere. (I may have even considered getting a tattoo.)
A mug would be cool, also various t shirts;with the Sarang, Lunar Industries logo? A t shirt with “I’m Sam Bell”.

This must happen! I’d love pretty much anything GERTY-related. I really loved the movie posters as well so it’d be awesome to have that design either on a poster or t-shirt (… or both).
I think it be pretty sweet if you could buy your own Lunar Industries Jumpsuit. But I’d definitely go for some GERTY and Lunar Rover replicas.

Absolutely loved the movie from the first time I saw it sitting on a jet to the Far East. It showed a scifi fan like me the benchmark to aim for as a UK indie filmmaker. Production design was absolutely stunning so anything GERTY related get’s my vote.
In addition to the proposed merchandise in the poll, I concur that there should be Lunar Industries insulated travel mugs, and a Gertie app (Android for me, please).

A rover or GERTY desk toy would be phenonimal! I wouldn’t argue with a shirt or Sam figure though! As other stated it would be great to have some interesting promotion stuff for movies like Moon. Now if I could just get a Memento temporary tattoo kit

Moon was such a headventure. The design was very nice and notable and would look great on a shirt. Now that these are not being used solely to product the movie I feel you could take it out a bit and come up with some cool designs, maybe even have a contest to pick a fan-sponsored design.
I could definitely go for some Moon gear, especially a t-shirt or beenie.

Ooh glad to see patches and GERTY doing well. I’ve nicknamed our franking machine at work GERTY. No-one gets it. They wouldn’t let me put a smiley face sticker on it, so now I need a desk GERTY so I can say ‘nah nah nah-nah nah’.
