MOON wins at British Independent Film Awards

bifaMOON has won the prestigious Best British Independent Film Award at the BIFAs tonight. MOON had received 7 nominations in 6 categories, and beat off stiff competition from a strong group consisting of ‘An Education’, ‘Fish Tank’, ‘In The Loop’ and ‘Nowhere Boy’

On top of that, Director Duncan Jones has been awarded the The Douglas Hickox Award for best debut Director. Full details of all of tonights winners over on the Birmingham Post (quick off the mark there chaps!) and over on the BBC

Many, many congratulations to Duncan Jones, Stuart Fenegan, Liberty Films, and the entire cast and crew of officially, the UK’s and the world’s 2009 BEST BRITISH INDEPENDENT FILM!! :) Onwards…..
