Now confirmed on the Sitges 2009 site, Duncan Jones’ first feature ‘Moon’ has had a jolly old time in Spain winning:
- Best film
- Best screenplay
- Best actor (Sam Rockwell)
- Design Production
Jones is currently en route back to Spain this morning after presenting ‘Moon’ at the festival earlier last week with Star Sam Rockwell. Hope he’s taken a big bag to bring back the swag.

I think it was Duncan’s “jazz hands” that really sold the judges!
LOL & a bit of magic, could have completely swept the board if Rockwell had not pulled out of wearing the sequined leotard at the last minute
